Multimedia Development

Multimedia is used to create interactive content for classes. Technology coaches guide others in the design and development of multimedia projects. They help ensure that the projects meet current standards for technology.

Class - Web-Based Learning Systems 5150:632
For this project, I worked with four classmates. We spent the semester creating documentation and a prototype for our WBLS. Our goal was to educate middle-school children on how to be good Digital Citizens. We used various technologies including Google Sites, Camtasia, Google Slides, Padlet, and Google Forms. We also had four experts review the WBLS and several students who provided feedback for creation of this final prototype.

In October 2018, I was asked to speak at a Faculty Association meeting regarding the best practices in online learning. I was allowed to choose my own topic. I chose to focus on using video for effective communication in online learning.

Field Artifact 3 for C-3
This reflection focuses on the new student orientation that was created in 2019 for Stark State College. The goal of this orientation was to provided students an online interactive experience that introduced them to Stark State College, told them how to complete financial aid and what they needed to do after the orientation.
